Boilermaker Beginner Pitcher Camp
Coach Boo and her staff are pleased to host their Boilermaker Beginner Pitcher Camp at Bittinger Softball Stadium on Tuesday, June 11, 2019
If you are in grades K-5 looking to start pitching or to improve your pitching, our Boilermaker Beginner Pitcher Camp is for you! Campers will receive skill instruction from Purdue Softball Coaches.
This session is intended to be a pitching session either separate or in conjunction with the Lil Boilers All-Skills Summer Camp. Pitchers will learn different drills and skill sets at each camp. Come learn new pitching skills or improve the pitching skills you have as you make your way to the next level of pitching!
Pitching: proper fastball mechanics, proper change up mechanics, throwing to quadrants, expanding your plate, skills to improve velocity, skills to improve spin, confidence to throw strikes, using your pitching skills to set up batters, etc. (Pitchers do not have to bring a Catcher to camp with them.)
Grades: K - 5th

If weather does not permit camp to occur at Bittinger Softball Stadium, Camp will be moved into Bittinger Softball Stadium Batting Cages or an alternate location. Campers will be notified.
Additional Information: Boilermaker Beginner Pitcher Camp is open to all Campers, grades K-5. Online Registration will remain open until Friday, June 7, 2019, or until camp is filled.

Registration / Check-In: Check-In will occur at Bittinger Softball Stadium. All Participants MUST register online. All paperwork must be filled out and payment received prior to the start of Camp.
Equipment: All Campers must bring their own softball equipment. Molded or metal cleats, sneakers or turf shoes, glove, face mask, etc. No cleats allowed in the batting cages; Campers must bring sneakers too.
Campers are encouraged to wear their middle school, high school, club, or travel ball uniforms. Campers are also encouraged to bring any additional equipment that they may need, such as a mouthpiece, facemask, water jug, etc. Water will be available at all sessions.
Refund Policy: We reserve the right not to refund participant’s registration fees. All registrations are final. We strongly recommend you purchase registration insurance. During the registration process, you will be provided the option to insure the full amount of your registration. With Registration Protector, a camper who misses an event for a reason such as a covered injury or illness, job loss, transportation delays, military/family/legal obligations, and other covered reasons can get their camp fees reimbursed in full. Camp insurance gives you peace of mind if you cannot make it to one of our events. It costs less than a cup of coffee to insure your registration amount.
